Hi, Daniel.

No secrets. First simulate one grid, then pipe section of the grid, and then
tied in a knot. That's it.

Screens attached :)

Good luck.
 Yuriy.

Typical :

I think he was probably asking for an explanation with just a little more
detail , as far as step by step
goes . You know ...

Step 1)
Step 2)
Step 3)
...
Step 8)
Step 9)
...

For instance ... did you use a macro to place the grids perfectly , for
example ? If not , then how did
you create a "Pipe Section" , and then a whole pipe , and then tie it in a knot
? (etc etc etc etc etc etc)

I gave up already 5 years ago so don't actually put your thinking cap on and
answer those questions .

I remember we used to have this guy on our list (probably dead by now) who
used to always
say "oh , if only my health wasn't so bad I could take the time to show you all
how to do it in
a Step-By-Step manner , with a tutorial and everything , but I am weak now and
so ... must rest" .

Then , we had another nit-wit who used to love to show you exactly what a
person was asking
for , but if you wanted an explanation on just exactly how he/she/it did it you
had to beg for one .

Had another goof who was creating plugins & materials but , go to use them and
they were
also full of bugs , and no read me file explaining how to use them .

Now that I think about it , it was probably just the same dopey commie fag
using 5 different
user-names . All those posts did seem the same , didn't they ?

"Hey , look at how cool this is !!!! It is so easy to do with RS3D !!!! I must
go now ..." .

I'll bet you that all along it was just Vesa having fun torturing us
bird-brains that were stupid
enough to not just wake up and download Blender or POV Ray.

Merry Christmas ! Happy New Year !

                        Wow, that looks great!

If you don't mind sharing.. how did you do that?

All, Hi!
During some tests, I modeled the rabitz Gordian knot.
The result is posted on my page, there are also links to the video I posted on
Youtube.
