From: Paolo 'Blaisorblade' Giarrusso <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Andi Kleen pointed out that -mcmodel=kernel does not make sense for userspace code and would stop everything from working, and pointed out the correct fix for the original bug (not easy to do for me).
