How were they compiled, how ok. let me first describe the problem: at first, the slirp binary segfaulted. it was because a call to ttyname(0) returned NULL, and was then sent to strcmp. after resolving this issue, and running slirp in debug mode, i can see data arriving at slirp, but nothing gets back to uml.... > are you invoking the program? Have you followed the networking howto? Unless you provide details how your system is set up I have > no idea why it would not work for you. im using linux 2.6.9 with the bs6 patch applied, and slirp 1.0.16. p.s. why does the slirp_setup function replaces '_' with spaces? it is really annoying finding out your binary isn't being executed because it is called slirp_ver1 .... - -- ======================================================================== nir. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCBdygIHR+zI+Dam4RAvFdAJ450jNXF2r0NU3UEzAY1T3A8LDDVACgoerF h2xgbG3san8e7bQpcgyFaL0= =5oQe -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
