Yeah, we will try other kernels as we get around to it.

We did that already. That's how we confirmed all the ps results and
all. Killed all the other processes, dumped ps, dumped /proc/meminfo,
used lsof, etc. etc. 'swapoff' is the hanging process, nothing else
seems to be running. Machine works fine otherwise though, just that
swapoff hangs.

kind of problems we are seeing elsewhere.
