Hello,
I am trying to compile UML version 2.6.11.1 on a UML kernel
2.6.11-1.27_FC3.uml that I downloaded from
http://www.symetrix.com/~bj/uml/. I know the kernel works cause I have
used his before. I can't seem to get past the compilation using the gcc
3.4.2 compiler. Here is my output using fedora core 3. LD
.tmp_vmlinux1
/usr/lib/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/3.4.3/../../../libc.a(mktime.o)(.rodata+0x0):
multiple definition of `__mon_yday'
fs/built-in.o(.rodata+0x64a0):fs/buffer.c:1288: first defined here
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
KSYM .tmp_kallsyms1.S
nm: '.tmp_vmlinux1': No such file
/bin/bash: line 1: 21354 Exit 1 nm -n .tmp_vmlinux1
21355 Segmentation fault | scripts/kallsyms >.tmp_kallsyms1.S
make: *** [.tmp_kallsyms1.S] Error 139
Any help would be appreciated. I am just trying to get ONE 2.6 kernel
compile to test 2.6 modules. Thanks, --Jonathan
