I downloaded the pre-built Fedora FC3 image from http://www.stearns.org/uml-root/ and tried to boot on a guest kernel 2.6.12.4 (w/ the bs9 patches). After fixing the obvious issues (copying a /dev directory from another OS, modifying inittab, etc.), the image "hung" during boot at the following location:

After disabling the sendmail process, I was able to successfully boot the system. Even stranger, sendmail started working after I patched the system. However, the symptom returned a couple hours later (during another boot). When it isn't working, I can't even build the alias database with the "newaliases" command (it just hangs). Any ideas on the issue? Has anyone else using FC3 noticed similar problems or issues? I tried using the FC4 image, but had even worse problems.
