whay don't you add the following to the /etc/apt/sources?

deb http://etinarcadiaego.dyndns.org/~ste/debian/ ./
deb-src http://etinarcadiaego.dyndns.org/~ste/debian/ ./

and try my own version of the 2.6.12 debian package (patch submitte to the
maintainer, Matt Zimmerman) and to wnpp.
