Ah, I misunderstood.
This seems like some toolchain problem, then. Did you do a clean
build using the same toolchain? If so, then I dare say you hit a bug
in it. I have little experience debugging these things, so I can't be
a lot of help.
As a workaround, since it's happening during linking, you might enable
a static build and see how that works.
