Hi I'm trying to activate the swap on my umls. My start commands are ubd0=root_fs ubd1=swap_fs My UML kernel is 2.6.16.9-bs2, downloaded from http://www.user-mode-linux.org/~blaisorblade/binaries/
My system boots normally, I can see the first disk mounted as /dev/ubda. First question, if I do a ls -l /dev/ubd* it doesn't find any devices, how is it working ? To mount the swap area, swapon /dev/ubdb /dev/ubd/1 do not work (device not found), What is the name of the device ? how could I find it ? thanks in advance, Johan ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
