I'm not sure if that would work in this case, I need simple interfaces that I can use with the routing daemons from quagga/zebra. I want to simulate real network links with routing protocols running over them; I don't think SSH VPNs will work for that. Maybe I just need to use the 'mcast' transport, I'm just not sure if this will give me the segregation I need so that the different routers don't see each other as neighbours (unless they have a specific link between them).
