Apache fails in a strange way which may be UML-related.

There are no messages in the error log and the access log show
something reasonable:

213.41.181.9 - - [25/Dec/2006:21:11:33 +0100] "GET /eve/conception.html
HTTP/1.0" 200 9407 "http://www.demaziere.fr/eve/"; "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux
i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20061113 Firefox/1.0.4 (Debian package
1.0.4-2sarge13)" www.demaziere.fr

The file is indeed 9407 bytes, as Apache says. But the client always
receives an empty file! (Tested with Firefox, lynx and wget, without a
proxy.)

Here, with wget:

% wget http://www.demaziere.fr/eve/conception.html
--21:13:14--  http://www.demaziere.fr/eve/conception.html
           => `conception.html'

conception.html has sprung into existence.
Retrying.
...

I've never seen that with Apache and, since this machine has strange
problems, I suspect that it is UML's fault.
