Hello,
Can anybody kindly outline the steps of how to add a system call to UML.
I have spent the last 3 days and followed various instructions including
this one:

and various others but to no avail.
I followed the instructions in the first link. Everything compiles fine and
runs fine too.
However the printk("somename\n") statement inside my system call doesn't
seem to do anything.
No errors of any kind yet nothing is thrown up on the console. I'm lost on
what to do here.
