As 1st argument (socket-name) a full path is also accepted. But you must pass the full socket name, including the final mconsole (look at the path it searches:) $ uml_mconsole path_to_mconsole Warning: couldn't stat file: /home/paolo/.uml/path_to_mconsole/mconsole - No such file or directory Warning: couldn't stat file: /tmp/uml/path_to_mconsole/mconsole - No such file or directory Warning: couldn't stat file: path_to_mconsole - No such file or directory
At my homepage there is another version, maybe this has been added there; I do not recall doing such a change but it was so much time ago that I could have forgot.
