Hi, I've built a root file system from Centos 4.4 and it seems to work fine.
The UML kernel I'm running it with is linux-2.6.19-rc5 from the website, which is probably a later kernel than Centos 4.4 is supposed to run. A "ps" on the host shows the linux processes (3 of them) and also around 26 processes with junk names. Inside the UML there are around 40 processes, including kernel procs. A few questions: 1. Any idea why I'm seeing these junk processes? 2. Isn't SKAS0 supposed to hide the processes from being displayed in the host? 3. Do I have an incompatibility between my UML kernel and the root file system and can this be resolved by building a Centos 4.4. kernel with the UML patches? -- Best regards, Russell mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
