Fabio, Let me know if you want a newer, pre-compiled guest kernel (I have one for 2.6.20.6). While this will not help with the TLS issue, it does offer a LOT of bug fixes. In the mean time, you can find compilation instructions on the main website at:
http://user-mode-linux.sourceforge.net/compile.html Also, you can compile a guest kernel on a different machine than the one you're planning to deploy on. While a host kernel can be tricky with remote systems, guest kernels are just another process on the box (the beauty of UML!). This makes the process of building and replacing guest kernels both easier and much safer. Good luck!
