Hello all, I'm a bit of a newbie to UML, and I'm trying to find some decent documentation on rolling my own root filesystem. What I've found so far seems to be either out of date, 404'd, or specific to a particular distro (Debian w/ debootstrap). Is there a good place to look besides the UML Wiki and the sourceforge home page?
My main goal here is to have a RHEL 4 filesystem, and a RHEL 5 filesystem, and use them to build distro-specific RPMs. Does this sound reasonable? Finding pre-built images for these distros seems impossible, probably due to activation/subscription issues. I do have access to VMWare, so if this boils down to "install RHEL 4 somewhere and dd the hard disk", I can do that. In that case, what specifically needs to be changed (if anything) to make the image work with UML?
