I'm using ArchLinuxPPC and I'm trying to build and use UML. I followed the
howto, but I get this:
[danim...@jim linux-2.6.31.4]$ make defconfig ARCH=um
/home/yuis/linux-2.6.31.4/arch/um/Makefile:52:
/home/yuis/linux-2.6.31.4/arch/um/Makefile-powerpc: No such file or
directory
make: *** No rule to make target
`/mnt/dvd/linux-2.6.31.4/arch/um/Makefile-powerpc'. Stop.
So, next step was try to use SUBARCH:
[danim...@jim linux-2.6.31.4]$ make defconfig ARCH=um SUBARCH=ppc
HOSTCC scripts/basic/fixdep
HOSTCC scripts/basic/docproc
HOSTCC scripts/basic/hash
HOSTCC scripts/kconfig/conf.o
HOSTCC scripts/kconfig/kxgettext.o
SHIPPED scripts/kconfig/zconf.tab.c
SHIPPED scripts/kconfig/lex.zconf.c
SHIPPED scripts/kconfig/zconf.hash.c
HOSTCC scripts/kconfig/zconf.tab.o
HOSTLD scripts/kconfig/conf
scripts/kconfig/conf -d arch/um/Kconfig.
can't find file arch/um/Kconfig.
make[1]: *** [defconfig] Error 1
make: *** [defconfig] Error 2
What can I do now?
