Hi, What would you be using to configure an eth port at the lowest level in order to limit its speed ? For instance, in order to have the maximum speed of a DDS 56K line on an eth port so that traffic control rules can be applied and simulated. I'm not familiar with the tools in Linux that can be used to apply to a LAN port certain parameters.
Has anyone did that kind of simulation here ? How did you configure the eth port to limit the speed ?
