All- I understand that Hadoop will work fine without password-less SSH enabled. It's only used for the start-all/stop-all scripts.
Will Accumulo work without password-less SSH enabled? Everything I find in the documentation says that it needs to be enabled for communications between the master and the tablet servers, but it doesn't say whether that's just to start up daemons or if it's used for more than that. Does anyone know? Thanks, Josh
