How to get Yarn application level stats

Hi,

What API call do use to get list of (YarnApplicationID,
numberOfAllocatedContainers)?
And are there stats at Yarn container level available through API?

I looked at list of APIs here(
https://github.com/apache/ambari/blob/trunk/ambari-server/docs/api/v1/index.md)
 and couldn't find out an API that will give above two.
