Subject: Re: moving master nodes on ambari 1.7?

Hi Jun,

1.7 did not support moving masters except for NameNode, SNameNode, and
ResourceManager, I believe.
The ability to move Oozie Server, HiveServer2, Hive Metastore, Hive Metastore
DB, WebHCat Server, and App Timeline Server (possibly others) were added for
2.0 (the work has already been done in trunk).

Subject: moving master nodes on ambari 1.7?

Hi Ambari team,

I have figured out namenode and resource manager can be moved to another node
on Ambari 1.7.
Are there any components that Ambari supports to move?
e.g. History Server, HBase Master, Oozie Server Hive Metastore, Hive Server.
