Hi Steve,

On all your hosts, try running "python
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/ambari_agent/HostCleanup.py".
This should delete binaries, directories, alternatives, etc.
After that, run "ambari-server reset" on the ambari-server host. This
initializes the Ambari postgres db.

Subject: Fwd: Ambari based uninstall

Team,

I am using Ambari to install a cluster which now needs to be deleted and
re-installed.

Is there a clean way to Uninstall the cluster, clean up all the binaries from
all the nodes and do a fresh install ?

There is no data on the cluster, so nothing to worry.

Thanks in advance
