Is the folder for your classname on the CLASSPATH?

Well, actually, it was part of being a newbie to eclipse. I had java files in a "normal" project. I created a Java project and added my files there, and lo and behold, everything worked fine :)

If you would like to talk about this more, please send me an off-list email.

Thanks

Ajay

Subject: Code completion not working.

Hello,

Me again :) First time eclipse user.

I am not able to get the code completion in Eclipse to work. Here is the
screen shot (link) of the error message I get:

http://ajaygautam.homelinux.net:8008/eclipse-cc.jpg

It says:
"Cannot access compilation unit. Reason: <ClassName> does not exists"

I get this error when a "." is pressed or when I try and press CTRL-SPACE.

The project has been taken from CVS and an existing build.xml is being
used to build it. I could not find any configuration for code
completion, and would appreciate any help in getting this running.

TIA

Ajay Gautam
