Hi antoine,
Starting the task cvs_test under eclipse 3.0.0 on windows XP (team plugin
installed)
<target name="cvs_test">
<cvs cvsRoot="
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/extra/cvs/RAPTOR"
command="login"
output="output.txt"
error="error.txt"
/>
</target>
I get the following error:
[cvs] Caught exception: CreateProcess: cvs -d
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/extra/cvs/RAPTOR login error=2
Do you know why I got this exception ?
Note:
As indicated into ant documentation, the cvs task needs "cvs" on the path.
So I added it (cvs client path from WinCvs 1.3) and tried to execute cvs.exe
from the command line in the target directory in which I am working. It' OK
(I got cvs help).
Thanks for your help,
Nicolas

Hello Radha,
the ant cvs task can be used to perform all cvs operations.
The attribute command is used to say which operation you want to do.
see http://ant.apache.org/manual/CoreTasks/cvs.html
Cheers,
Antoine
