Hello all,

Anybody have any experience in (and can provide guidance on) how to run an ANT
script as a Windows Service.

I am using the <antServer> task (from the ant-contrib project) and want to run
the "server" as a Windows XP service. I am familiar with running .exe files as
server (via servany) or even invoking the JAVA JVM as service (via JavaService
from Alexendria Consulting) but since ANT is invoked via a batch script, I'm
not sure on how to proceed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Later,

Ninju Bohra

For all (that are interested):
I apologize for sending the repeated messages and the "ping" message. It was
the first time that the list server did not register my emails in a timely
fashion. In fact it took over 2 hours for my first emails to appear on the
list. I should have (will now) give the list server some time to process
messages.
For those that replied publicly:
Thanx for the oh-so-polite public lambasting (always good for promoting
open-source contribution...not!)
For those that replied privately:
Thanx,
