you can attach a suggested patch to the bug report.
There is already one actually ..., so you can also test the existing
patch ...
I have had a look at the existing code, and I wonder whether it will be
possible to fix the problem while maintaining compatibility.
Otherwise, the usual recommendations to prepare a patch :
To check out a local copy of ant from CVS (take
the HEAD revision, as the 1.6 branch is closed).
