Yes in a ideal and logical world:)But i prefered to ask to catch people's 
experiences.
I did not try anything yest since i am still stuck with my classpath 
problem:((some mof my mails are flying right now in the ether).
I can't get anything to run since bsf.jar, js.jar, ant-contrib.jar are not 
recognized (class not found), while echoing properties shows that the jars are 
present in the lib directory of ant.

Let´s have a look what you´re doing/using:
- Ant: written completely in Java
- BSF: dito
- Rhino: dito
So it should run on any JVM ...

Have you tried it on AIX 5.2?
