Thanks for the <striplinebreaks/> suggestion; that never occurred to me! I
was thinking only about REGEX when I asked the question.
As for using <input>, I've been messing around with that for the past half
hour and I could probably make do with it in a pinch. It's just so darned
ugly compared to AntMenu/AntForm ;-) I really don't like the input text box
that I can't seem to suppress no matter what I do. I just want a simple
message with two buttons, proceed and abort and _no_ input field. The plain
drab input task also doesn't look very attractive compared to the AntMenu
and AntForms that appear later in the build. That's not an important reason
but it's still a factor, no matter how trivial.
But I don't suppose I have a choice. The support for AntForm is very slow;
the last time I contacted them, it took two weeks before I even heard from
them. I can't afford to wait two weeks, especially when I fully expect that
AntMenu can't display a property and any functionality to make that possible
will not appear for several more months.
If you can tell me how to suppress the text field in the input task, that
would at least help me make input a little more tolerable. But I don't
suppose this is possible since the manual article doesn't list a parameter
to turn it on or off.

Okay, re: the line ending stuff, just chain a
<striplinebreaks> filter after the <containsregex>
filter... as for the antmenu, I couldn't say as I have
never worked with this third-party task. Is there
something you need from it more complex than what the
<input> task can handle?

Matt,
I've _nearly_ got what I want but I'm not quite
clear on how to change it to
get _exactly_ what I want.
