When you want to reuse the <echo>, just set the taskname to some other value.

<presetdef name="mytask">
    <echo taskname="mytask"/>
</presetdef>
<mytask message="hello"/>


If you want to get rid off all these log-prefixes, you can use the -emacs mode.
