Thank you very much for your answer, Martin, now I get it! Totally forgot about that Path property of windows. OK, now for anyone who might have the same problem and doesn't have a clue, just as I did, in a little more detail: Right-click "My Computer", go to "properties", the "advanced" tab and environment variables. Look for the "Path" variable and click edit. Now add the path of your cvs.exe (just the dir) to it, separated by semicolon. That should work.
