<arg value="x"/> is interpreted as a single argument, even if "x" happens
to contain spaces. In your case, you actually have two arguments: "-o" and
"filename", so you need to specify it like this:
<arg value="-o"/>
<arg value="${out.dir}/${main.outfile}"/>
