Hi Xiaoni, I strongly advise against doing it this way. If `conda install -c conda-forge pyarrow` installs pyarrow 0.11.1 in your environment then it means there is a conflict between versions of packages and you will likely encounter problems later on.
I advise the following: 1) Remove anaconda 2) Install miniconda instead 3) Install only the packages you need (preferably in a new environment) 4) Do `conda install -c conda-forge pyarrow=0.15.1` 5) Success!
