Hi Apache Arrow community members, On Thursday, June 11, Columnar is hosting an ADBC Office Hours session with David Li, Curt Hagenlocher, and Felipe Oliveira Carvalho. This event is being hosted with the consent of the Apache Arrow PMC.
Registration is here: https://luma.com/h4iq9mfk This will be an informal discussion and moderated Q&A about ADBC and its origins, current adoption, language implementations, database drivers, and opportunities for the project going forward. It will be held on Zoom. All are welcome to join, subject to attendee limits. The panelists are all active contributors to Arrow and ADBC: - David Li is the original creator of ADBC, an Arrow PMC member, and a lead maintainer of the ADBC work. - Curt Hagenlocher is an Arrow PMC member and has led much of the ADBC C# work, including its use in Microsoft Power BI. - Felipe Oliveira Carvalho is an Arrow committer and has contributed to the ADBC Rust infrastructure, in addition to leading ADBC integration work in the dbt Fusion engine.
