I think DataFusion is the closest because an FFI for ObjectStore and FileFormat would give them actual benefit today (they already have an FFI for some of this; however, it relies on a matching DataFusion major version and it's kind of a pain). It's possible they don't want this either though 🙂 (I was planning on getting it working in SedonaDB, where I need fewer people to agree with me, and then propose to DataFusion).
