Hello, I am experimenting with Avro and I had a look at the GenericDatumReader and at the generated Java Code for my schemas and there is a lot of boxing/unboxing going on.
I would be interested to understand how you are dealing with that? Do you extend the readers with your own primitive functions? I would love to find a way to use primitives as much as possible.
