I did in fact see the SO answer. Does "velocity" here refer to the Apache Velocity template language <https://velocity.apache.org/engine/releases/velocity-1.5/user-guide.html#velocity_template_language_vtl:_an_introduction>? Also, any idea what templates get applied by default?
I am not very familiar with the design principles behind Avro , but in general, does anyone know if there are plans to update the avro schema specifications to support inheritance/if this is possible?
