Hi JB, I will take any help I can get ! I haven’t seen an uneven amount of worker or that it is imbalanced but I do know it is not operating at 100% as we don’t have a reshuffle step since every time we have tried data is stuck. Both workers hover around 20% in CPU utilization. Do you happen to have any example auto scaler to look at ? If I have two flows it seems to function fine but I believe one flow should be enough to handle the throughput we are expecting at about 400k msg/hr. As shown in the pictures before I am trying to understand too how it is determining to increase connections as something I have seen is one reader for our 2nd mq gets behind but the connections don’t increase for that mq though the throughput is still coming in, but for our third queue we had over double the number of connections though it had no waiting messages. @Radek Stankiewicz<mailto:radosl...@google.com> if you have any example Auto Scaler I will look at and see if I can implement and see the performance as well.

Zack, I think you need to implement autoscaler otherwise Dataflow won't know how to move splits between the workers. In your pipeline, have you noticed any imbalance between the workers?
