Hello, I will be talking about Apache Beam at Madrid on next friday November 18 as part of the Big Data Spain conference:
- "A unified (future proof) model for Big Data processing. An introduction to Apache Beam" by Ismaël Mejía https://www.bigdataspain.org/program/fri-unified-model-big-data-processing-introduction-apache-beam.html I extend the invitation to any person interested to discuss about Beam and other topics to join us there too. I know that both Aljoscha (from Flink) and Thomas (from Apex) will be there too, so it would be nice to meet you and other people working on Beam too. Ismael. ps. We forgot to announce but this week JB also presented Beam at the Spark meetup in Paris and we also gave a talk about Beam at the google devfest at Nantes. Both talks were in French, in case there is interest I know that at least one of them was filmed so we can share it once it is published. ps2. I excuse myself if I skipped something in the announcement procedure, I created this email following Kenneth's format (used to announce the talks at strata), but I remember I saw somewhere the official guideline for these announcements but I couldn't find it again.
