Hi Prasanth, Sorry about that. The <listener> can be removed from the web.xml. It was noted in JIRA bug and has been fixed for the next release in SVN revision 376844. See http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEEHIVE-1065
To fix this, you can edit your copy of the web.xml in the <BEEHIVE_HOME>/samples/petstoreWeb/ application.
