Is this puppet code in the install? If so, where? I’m thinking I should perhaps start working with a src version of BigTop, but I was really hoping to spend as little time as possible on configuring my Hadoop ecosystem and maximize problem solving. Seems I keep getting deeper into the rabbit warren.

(and some installation issues) Bigtop also maintains puppet code that will configure everything with a pretty good default configuration and have your cluster working pretty much out-of-the-box. Maybe this is a good option for you?
