I tried to extend LedgerMetadata, BookKeeper and possibly LedgerHandle to introduce a timestamp to the metadata on handle creation, but I faced package protection problems so I am trying something else.

For now I am playing around with it, but I am thinking about using it here <https://github.com/mauricioscastro/basex-lmdb> (https://github.com/mauricioscastro/basex-lmdb) for replicating my key/values one level above the lmdb jni client.

Thanks.

Hi, if I want to erase historical data in the log, say older than
5 days for example, is there any ledger metadata that could help
    me achieve this?

    Thanks.
