well I am using the last casotr version and I get this error :
org.exolab.castor.jdo.DatabaseNotFoundException: Nested error:
org.exolab.castor.mapping.MappingException: The SQL type datetime is
not supported in this release:
here is my mapping configuration:
<field name="fileDate" type="java.util.Date">
<sql name="file_date" type="datetime"/>
</field>
