Subject: [castor-user] Import statementsHi,
We are using Castor 0.9.6 to generate Java source files from an XML Schema.
What we have found is that all generated classes contain import statements but also reference other classes directly.For example:
import java.io.Writer;
......
public void marshal(java.io.Writer out)
Is there a mechanism to switch this off?
Thanks,
Simon

Title: Import statements
Not
sure, but I remember a Jira issue that ask for a general 'cleanup' in this area,
e.g. to limit the number of import statemenst to be generated, etc. It shoudl
not be too hard to find the code fragments that are responsible for creating
import statemenst and/or explicit class references, and to possibly maybe
provide a patch.
