what version if Xerces are you using ? There's a couple of options you have, but you'd need to tell us some details first.

I perform some performance tests over my application and noticed that unmarshalling process is taking too much time comparing to marshalling.

For 1000 thousand unmarhalling operation with the same xml input, average time is 23 ms. When using a profiler to find the bottlenec, i saw that

Parse method of XercesParser  needs too much time to finish.

 

Do you have any tips about this unmarshalling performance burden? Any setting or idea?

 

Note: CastorWiki was unavaliable during last 2 days and it seems today also....
