Hi Werner,
Thanks for the reply. One more query that i have is
what type of parsing does castor have by default. Is it DOM or SAX?
As you know DOM parsing is memory intensive but fast while SAX
parsing is slow but less killing on the memory. The parsing style
that i want to use needs to be soft on the memory.
It's sax-based, afaik. You can, of course, control parsing by
grabbing the UnmarshalHandler from the unmarshaller object and
running the parse operation yourself.
1. Which is the parsing that is used in castor by default?
SAX, afaik.
2. Does castor support both SAX and DOM parsing?
It will if you want it to.
3. How do I switch from one parsing style to the other?
Take over the job of executing the parse operation by grabbing an
appropriate handler.
