Hmm ... Yes an no. If you looked at the roadmap for Castor 1.0 at 

http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CASTOR?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.
system.project:roadmap-panel

you'd notice that we are setting ourselves quite an ambitious target
anyhow. If you decided to supply us with a patch, we'd be of course more
than happy to integrate your patch as fast as possible .. ;-)
