I guess, you may have to change the XSD from which you generate the classes. Change the field type to 'string'  or some simple type.

Subject: [castor-user] Question About Castor and Enumerations

Hello everyone,
I had a question about Castor and how it deals with enumerations.  I have a schema with a "simpleType" defined with enumerations.  When I run castor to generate some class files, that particular "simpleType" gets generated as a class because of those enumerations.  Is there a way to "ignore" those enumerations and to have castor generate those simleTypes as a member variable?  Any help would be appreciated...thanks!
