Hi Amol, I have no experience with castor pre 0.9.5 releases so I'm not able to tell you in detail what issues you will have to upgrad from 0.8.11 to 1.0. As far as I know, upgrading from 0.9.5 to 1.0 would not be a big deal. I'd expect that the issues you may be hit by are also dependend on the part of castor that you are using (XML or database). I'm only aware of one other user that uses a pre 0.9.5 release. He tried to upgrade to a prerelease of 1.0 some time ago but did not finish according to issues with db.update().
