Praveen,
This can and should not be done in the XML schema, but in the XML code generator binding file, where you can override the collection type to be used for a collection member . Please see http://castor.org/srcgen-binding.html#%3Cmember%3E-element for details Werner PS Having just had a look at the sources, it looks like support for Maps is somewhat incomplete. Right now, we support Lists, Vectors and sets. If you wanted support for Maps to be finalized, please consider filing a Jira issue (feature request) at http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CASTOR. ________________________________ Von: Praveen Jani [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Gesendet: Mittwoch, 04. Do you guys know if I could define my XSD in such a way that I get HashMap in the generated class? Thanks, -Praveen
