Werner,
I'm looking at the trunk of IDResolverImpl:
http://svn.codehaus.org/castor/castor/trunk/src/main/java/org/exolab/castor/xml/IDResolverImpl.java
and see this in the bind method:
void bind(final String id, final Object object, final boolean
isValidating) throws ValidationException {
if (id.equals("") || id == null) {
throw new ValidationException ("Invalid (empty) ID value
encountered");
}
...
}
My guess is that the line should look something like:
if ((isValidating) && (id.equals("") || id == null)) {
throw new ValidationException ("Invalid (empty) ID value
encountered");
}
Is there another branch where I should look?
thanks,
Paul
